There’s an old German saying that goes: Gott erfand das Bier damit auch die häblichen Mädchen hin und wieder gebumst werden. I have no idea what this means. I’d like to think it means, "It’s ok to drink a lot of beer, as long as it’s really good beer. And sometimes you should share it with your dog, because he loves beer too." Well, at least mine does.
