I like to try different beers, whether or not they’re rated highly. A beer’s name doesn’t affect how I’ll rate it, but it does help decide whether or not I’ll buy it in the first place. I personally prefer all types of wheat beer. Dunkelweizens have recently earned my greatest respect, and I hope to try a lot more of them. I don’t have a tolerance for hops like a lot of hopheads I know. I used to be the kind of person that kept bad beer companies in business, until I was enlightened to the merits of well made beer.
