I drank a lot of cheap beer when I was young, and wasted a lot of money doing it. Finally I grew tired of it and quit. As I got older, an interest in gourmet coffees, and the realization of how good they are compared to the mass produced coffees, got me to thinking about beer. Was the same thing true, about micro brews vs the mass produced swill in all the stores, that was true with coffee? So, a couple of years ago, I started sampling an occasional American micro brew or a European offering, and have happily discovered a whole new world of styles and incredible flavors to sip and fully enjoy. Better late than never.
