I like beer. At a fancy restaurant, I order a beer. At a "cocktail party," I bring a six pack or a growler. I recently started brewing my own, so we値l see how that turns out. I知 not a big fan of reviewing beer using the same standards as wine in reviewing beer, i.e., comparing the flavor or aroma to obscure organic matter. Beer should never reach that level of snootiness. I just know if I like the beer or not. And I have to say, I usually like it. Every beer seems to have a redeeming quality, which makes beer difficult to rate. Also, beer is so diverse, that your own tastes can alter and evolve (used to be a stout man, now an IPA guy). If people start spitting out beer when tasting it, I will revolt.
