I guess you could say I have an impatient palette. I’m not one that puts a lot of time into analyzing every subtle taste in a beer. I want them to hit me over the head, then leave me with a pleasant after-taste. Unfortunately, here in Iowa, our alcohol laws are pretty sad and favor the "big box" brands.
I’m most into rich stouts, porters, doppels, Trappists ales, etc. But I like to try other styles as well.
