No cotton mouth is a must for any beer. Some beers leave you needing a glass of water insted of another beer. A beer with a very strong or even bitter flavor is good if you are going to drink only two or three, but if your going to make a day of it, you need something smooth. Light beer of any kind stinks. I have never tasted a light beer I liked. Price doesn't matter. Only snobbish people refuse to try a cheep beer. Some of the best beers are cheep to buy. You really do pay for the advertising.
