Dark brown pour from the bottle, thanks Glenn for the share, and made a for a great car ride, aromas of roast, coffee, bourbon, light earth and a touch of vanilla. Flavors follow suit, a light oxidation flavor in the aftertaste, but still a solid beer over all.

thanks jedwards! Pours super dark brown with red highlights and a nice deep tan head. Smell is vanilla/oak rich dark malt and dark fruit. Taste is bourbon, oak, rich malt and a little fruit. Medium body with nice carbonation - medium to fine in structure.

2008 vintage - dark brown pour with wispy white head. Nice bourbon nose. Nice body on the beer, just a touch boozy, nice malt profile. Quite nice!

2008 vintage bottle. The aroma has subtle bourbon with nice malt nose. The pour is very dark with a head that is light, but settles around the rim. The taste is amazing, I was really thrown back by this. The bourbon is subdue thanks to the aging, but perfect. This gives me super high hopes to age some of the newer bottles for a long time. I forgot exactly that I was cracking a 2008 vintage bottle, but sure glad I did.

2007 vintage 22oz for an awesome friend. Poured this one in an oversized wine glass. Dark brown pour, almost black with a coffee ice cream colored head. Just a ring lingers around. The burbon aroma has dissipated and transformed into huge vanilla, dark fruits, and candy. Some chocolate is present but just slightly. Wow, how smooth this drinks! Caramel, slight roast, and mellow burbon all make an appearance. If you still have this vintage I would say, consume now. What a treat

A dark brown beer with a red tinge and a small tan head. The aroma is alcohol, prunes, and anise. The flavor is roasted, caramel, overripe fruit, wood, and a slight bitterness. I like an imperial that is not so overpowering, and this one fits the bill nicely.
