Bottle. Caramel malt aroma with notes of grapefruit and pine resiny hops. Pours clear copper colored with a large tan head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with caramel malt and light grapefruit hop citrus. Finishes dry with more caramel malt and light pine resiny hop flavors. Ok, but a lot more malt than hops.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2018 Found as a make your own 6 pack at ingles in Franklin, NC. Not something I would drink again. Not hoppy for the style and left a odd aftertaste that was challenging to get rid of. I don't recommend it for a specific season as I feel the result would be the same: disappointment.

Aroma was ....interesting, not anything I'd experienced from an IPA before. Taste was off, didn't really remind me of an IPA at all. Palate was kind of weak. Not necessarily bad but it was just a pretty weak attempt at making an IPA.

Have found this brewer and liked a couple of its brews. Thought Id try this "hop" offering. Not bad, no hops overload as with most USA "crafties". But the taste is just off line. Not great. Nothing Im going to write home about. Disappointed.

More of a starter ipa. Not much smell, and color is clear. H ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bouche : Malt fruité puissant : Orange, pamplemousse chaud, biscuit.
