Bottle shared with blankboy, tupalev & HogTownHarry - HogTownHarry’s bottle. Hazy orange-pink colour, no head. Lovely mellow funk aroma with fruity wine notes. Flavour - dry, tart funkiness with notes of lemon juice, wine & horseblanket. Very nice.

Its about time to rate this. This bottle has come around a few times of the years at tastings. I remember when this was always available for purchase in Long Island but no one wanted to pay the outrageous price tag. Now this is a whale and no one can get it. I was working a pouring station and pouring this beer at Snallygaster 2018. Had a few sneaks for myself and though its about time to rate it. As other Canitllons this is more acidic and rougher. Compared to other lambics the color is beautiful and the grapes really come through. Its this paradox of sweet grapes and Cantillon aggression.

On tap at Goed Zuur. Deep reddish appearance with slight haze and a white head. Aroma of sour funk, red wine, mild grapes and lightly toasted oak. Similar flavor, fruity, vinous and tart with some lingering complexities. Light body with soft carbonation, a slight dry feel and a lasting finish. Pleasant and delicious overall.

Draft at Snallygaster DC 2018. Poured a very slightly hazy dark ruby color with not much of a head - wispy. Aroma was very pleasant, delicate fruit notes. Not overly tart. Sweet, pleasant. Nice.

Barwa ciemno czerowna. Aromat delikatny, na pierwszym planie wioskowa dzikość, trochę nut rustykalnych, owoce w tle. W smaku mocno wytrawne, lekko dzikie, winogrona w tle, lekko winny cierpki finisz.

2017 version enjoyed at Mon Petit Cafe Stuttgart. Beautiful, first funky and tart, then very fruity with tart wooden finish again.
