Cisk was launched in Malta in 1928. It is a golden-coloured lager with a distinctive and well-balanced character. Its rich hop aroma and pleasant bitterness, combined with a mild astringency, make it an outstanding thirst-quencher. Its alcohol content is 4.2%.

Cisk Lager was awarded top prize in the International Lager Category at the 1995 Australian Beer Awards and was presented with the Pfizer Food Science Trophy for the lager obtaining the highest number of votes in the same competition. 10.5°

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2018 Very drinkable in the hot Maltese sun. No problem downing these. Decent taste, colour and head. It’s no boutique beer but worth a shot when on Malta

From bottle (BB May'19) in shaker. Pours clear deep gold with 1-finger white head that faded. Slightly bready aroma, sweet malt taste, non-descript mild bitter finish. Added a new country.

Probably scores higher drunk on a scorching Maltese beach in nstead of an autumnal night in Manchester. Passable lager

UPDATED: SEP 16, 2018 Malta’s finest, if you believe the can/tin it comes in. Colour and texture are average but overall a bit too gassy to enjoy a night out on. That said in 30 degree heat a nice cold one of these goes down a treat but in practice an average unforgettable beer

Golden. Aroma is strachy with mild hops, also wheat. Taste is bitter old hops, not very good. Ok for a country tick.
