The particular character and the unique taste of "Delirium Tremens" result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success.
In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as "best beer in the world". A gold medal during the "world beer championships" in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition.

Bottle from AH. Slightly clouded golden yellow with thick foamy head. Banana aroma. Classic taste with caramelized banana and nutmeg. Solid approach

Cerveza de cuerpo medio y carbonatación alta. Del aroma se percibe un aroma frutal y a levadura. Ya en boca tiene un sabor agridulce y seco que podría ser mas agradable. Tiene un final largo y levemente amargo.

UPDATED: NOV 3, 2018 It’s okay. I don’t really understand the hype with this one. You can look at the taste/aroma two different ways.. The first being; cloves, banana, pear, etc. The second being bubblegum. This is where I can’t vibe with it. It just tastes like bubblegum to me.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2018 Pours well. Golden color with slight foamy head. Definitely a banana undertone. Overall a good beer just for something different.

JohnRMurdoch (5616) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - OCT 31, 2018
Tap @ Navigator TapRoom. Bright yellow, reasonable head. Spicy yeasty pumpkin aroma. Yeasty oaty toffee flavour. Not really my thing.

ERB92 (1017) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 26, 2018
Aroma of fruits, bread, yeast and hints of honey, grass and herbs. Hazy amber with a white head. Medium + sweet and medium bitter. Medium + body with average carbonation. Overall a very plesant and enjoyable Belgian Strong Ale. Well balanced.

Suco (403) - Castellon, SPAIN - OCT 23, 2018
UPDATED: OCT 23, 2018 Color amarillo dorado, un dedo de espuma con buena retención. Aroma a naranja y levadura. Gusto cítrico, levadura, carácter maltoso, especiada y un punto de acidez. Cuerpo ligero y carbonatación alta. Espectacular producto de marketing, acompañado de buena calidad, clasicazo.

BeerVegard (273) - NORWAY - OCT 22, 2018
0,33l bottle. Pours near clear golden with white head. Looks like a pilsner actually. Aroma of hay, yeast, dried fruits, spices (coriander?). Taste is crisp, dried fruit, coriander, yeasty, banana. Finish is really short.

coil (336) - Reading, Berkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 22, 2018
330ml bottle, nice opaque bottle design. Gold colour with white head. Sweet biscuit malt, Belgian yeast, lemon juice, sweet bready, light green apple, white sugar, light DMS, light booze, banana candy, light citrus hops

pivnizub (11425) - Bochum, GERMANY - OCT 21, 2018
Bouteille: Golden, hazy, many floaties, small and slowly vanishing white foamy layer; dryish fruity and alcoholic nose with traces of brandy and (necrotic) yeast; dry bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and tart; dry - again - bitter-fruity finish with alcohol, but without warming influences. A bit overrated, but surely the best beer in the world...
