Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2018 Copper color with typical beer aroma. Taste is lighter for amber beers and finishes bitter, reminds me of many European beers. Not nearly as good as other Vienna styles.

Bottle - not a fan in a bottle, but one of my favorite red ales at a Mexican restaurant in draft form. Takes like hot dogs in a bottle.

Pours clear, dark, amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma of malt and influences of spice. Taste is sweet with a notable malt body. Palate is very weak, no discernible elements. Drinkable, nice flavor to it.

Not too bad for a Mexican red ale. Good palate and a nice smooth finish. Not the top of my Irish ale beers but good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours dark amber / brown with off white head. Malty, caramel, biscuit, with lots of flavour. A long tine since I had this but I really enjoyed it

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2018 So you want to talk to talk malt and hops and brewing technique, go to another beer. I just finished mowing the backyard on a 97 deg Texas afternoon. I want to talk cold and smooth and tasty. I pop the lid on the ice old 12 oz bottle, push in a slice of lime and slam half of it. Delicious. Mexican beers need to be consumed in the context of Mexican beers. XX Amber is one of the best ones. I’ll step off the soapbox now. 6/29/18

Bottle . Amber pour with an off- white head. I've had "real craft" amber lagers that I liked less.
