Lekker stevig biertje met friszure afdronk. Vooral het zurige en de losse structuur van het schuim vallen op. Heel eigen stijl. Topper! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml bottle at home, bb. 8.2019. Pours a clear pale yellow with a huge white, frothy head. The aroma is lightly yeasty with notes of pear, fermenting apples, some grains, some bread, light citric notes and grassy hops. Medium to medium-full body with a fizzy carbonation, a light to medium sweetness and a light to medium bitterness. The flavor is lightly malty with sweetish grains, biscuit, some honey along with fruity, yeasty notes, some pears and grassy, herbal hops. Finishes with a light hoppy bitterness.

Polecam.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2018 Blimey, how come I never rated this before? Pours yellow with a huge head, more like ice cream, delicious lemony hoppy-spicy nose, then a potent spicy bitterness over an estery malty-dry body. Lovely.

330ml bottle. Pours hazy lemon with a froth of white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, bready malt, ripe pear, lime, banana and some lemongrass. Syrupy sweet mouth feel, soft bubbly carbonation, maybe the faintest hint of alcohol but the strength is disguised by the depth of flavour. Taste is bready malt, grassy, lime, pear, peach, lemongrass, white pepper and a typical Belgian yeast. Nice lingering bitterness on the finish. Fantastic.

330 ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour, huge head with good durability, fair lacing, lively carbonation. Nose is bread, yeast, strawberries. Flavour is medium sweet, light to medium bitter, malt, alcohol. Full bodied with a long and pleasent bitter finish. Very good!

330ml/33cl bottle. Strong Belgian Blonde Ale pours a fine white head. Nice mild colour, a little hazy (which is perfect) pretty wild carbonation. Flavours are marmalade, lemongrass, Banana & Caramel. Quite cirtusy with a nice dry finish on the back end of the taste. Good body, and mouth feel without it being thin or watery. Not a massively strong alcohol content in taste but at 8.5% you should be a little careful of this beer. Good clean taste, nothing metallic or skunky about the beer. Would be an ideal beer for all seasons ...could quite happily have a few in spring/summer or on a dark winter evening. Widely available and fantastic quality.
