Aroma: rich, potent nose, Moist black forest cake like aroma. Hinted with coffee and vanilla.
Top: smaller top, creamy textures that left rings on glass.
Palate : soft, medium lighter in body. Milder carbonation, average finish. Easy goings et up.
Taste: smooth porter, mild tartness, mild chocolate notes. Clean work.

Sampled on draft at the Media location this beer poured an almost black color with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy tan head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was dryish with brewed coffee and wood. The flavor was dry and bitter with sourish coffee and wood. Very long finish. Medium body. Meh. iron hill west chester Pours a very dark brown with a very thin head that does leave moderate lacing. The aroma is a pleasant chocolatey goodness with a touch of roastiness blended in. The taste is a heavy coffee flavor with a hint of chocolate. It finishes slightly bitter. It’s pretty nice in flavor compared to most porters.
