Bottled. A slightly hazy dark golden beer with a thin bubbly beige head. The aroma has strong notes of fruit, as well as medium notes of alcohol, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with with notes of alcohol, malt, and spices - can’t but names to them, leading to a dry spicy and alcoholic finish. Not that crazy about it. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small rough white head. Spicy, gingery nose. Solid body, lots of malt and fruit again with spicy accents, some phenols also. Ends on a warming alcoholic note. 080210

As it sister La Luppolosa 2008, this bottle as well is a gusher; it pours therefore a muddy deep blond color with floating particles; because of the high carbonation there is a thin persistent head. The aroma is pungent, herbal (heather) and spicy (juniper), beyond the acceptable. The body is less strong than expected; there is some malt flavor, lightly spicy (coriander and juniper) and very lightly herbal; low bitterness and quite evident alcohol presence. Confused.
