From bottle at Hotel Amanda, Haugesund, 01.11.18. Cloudy straw colour. Foamy and persistent white head and lacing. Aroma of yellow apples, pale malt and grass. Taste of pale malt, cereals, meadows and yellow apples. Decent bitterness and good drinkability.

Saturday, June 30, 2018. Bottle, 33cL. 6.5%. @Le_Trappist_Bar, Caen (14), FR. Little smile. My brother-in-law broke this beer several years ago before New Year's Eve. I couldn't find it ... until that day. A yellow brownish opaque beer with a small white head ; average retention. Light rum pancake smell, light herb, light pepper. Medium sweet, light to medium bitter, light acid note. Medium body, thin texture, average gaseous, sweet "cara-geuzy" finish. Overall, correct ; disappointing ; I expected more of this beer, I will try it again.

Aroma banan, hvetemalt, sitrus, noe eple, humle, krydder. Utseende uklar lys Orange med hvitt skum. Smak hvetemalt, banan, sitrus, krydder. Fruktig saison, medium fylde, noe tørr og bitter avslutning. Flaske smakt Oktober 2012, 50cl 6,5%

6,8/10 180617

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2018 Bottle as gift. Looks quite full and thick on the pouring. Hits all the marks though. Gold colour with lots of carbonation in the glass and a tall fluffy, creamy white head. Nose feels light and fresh. Full of fruit and spice. Touch of banana. Taste has the fruity and dry spice feel but had a large amount of soft caramel flowing through it. The caramel manifests itself in the palate. Feels full bodied and a little thick. Soft, high-level carbonation. Perhaps not as crisp and refreshing as I like a Saison to be but it's delicious nonetheless and a fine Belgian-style beer.

Bottle from Damián bottle shop. First beer of Norway. Light yeasty saison, belgian yeast did pretty solid job in aroma, but it's not really working on tongue, something is there what is breaking the show.

LakatosKE (855) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAY 3, 2018
0.33l bottle shared in Damian during tasting.Clear golden color with medium white head. Aroma: yeast, herbs, yeast derived fruitiness. Taste: banana, cloves, yeast, not as dry as expected, bit lacking in carbonation. Not the most typical of saisons, however still in style and tasty.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2018 When the aroma hits you at arms length when you pop the cap you know it's going to be special. Pours a cloudy orange colour with light carbonation. Taste is sweet honey & elderflowers, rounded mouthfeel and subtle after bite. 90p a bottle from Tesco!

BeerChalice11 (66) - Appleby-In-Westmorland, Cumbria, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2018
UPDATED: MAR 17, 2018 Pours hazy straw-orange with yeasty sediment. Thin foam head with good retention, but no lacing. Fruit, honey and spice aroma. Hint of a Belgian tripel in the aroma. Low carbonation for a saison and quite light mouthfeel considering 6.5%abv. Complex but refreshing taste, with sweet and sour notes and slight hoppy bitterness in finish. Very refreshing, and a bit incongruous on a snowy March evening. Great summer ale.
