4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Deep ruby-brown colour with a small tan head. Rich, complex aroma with notes of chocolate, coffee, vanilla and liquorice. Flavour is equally complex - bittersweet chocolate, roasty coffee, whiskey & brandy, and a warm, bitter finish. Remarkable stuff.
Chocolate with coffee and dark fruits are the flavors that come out. This one is a good stout but I have had better. Coffee flavored stouts are my favorite. thebeerbandit (167) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 10, 2018

With A while cooking steak and getting Olive Garden takeout for her.
Poured from bottle into a snifter. Evil-looking, opaque jet black with a sticky khaki head.
Nose is really roasty with sweet chocolate, coffee, even a touch of vanilla. Deep and complex. Smells amazing!
Taste is huge and complex with lots of roasty malts over more bitter dark chocolate and coffee. Very warm and rich with lots of roasty coffee bitterness. So much going on with this one.
Palate is thick and heavy. Plenty to savor and leaves behind a rich dose of roasty bitterness.
Overall, when I was new to craft beer, this was my undisputed #1 for a while. I can’t say that it still is the best beer I’ve had, but I can say that it is still amazing and a killer stout! EvNa (1065) - Ede, NETHERLANDS - AUG 8, 2018
Bottle. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee, slightly herbal. Taste: Dark roasted malt, coffee, hints of dark chocolate. Moderate sweet and medium bitter. Coffee finish with mocha notes. Hints of ash, soy and vanilla, lquorice. Pretty bitter, compared with other Imperial Stouts. Bit oily and dry mouthfeel. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Really nice one. borowik (388) - Bytom, POLAND - JUL 30, 2018

Smaak: Bittere chocolade, espresso koffie, drop, beetje tabak, melasse, aardige hopbitters.
Mond: Lekker romig, bitter, houtskool.
Een Top RIS, die Grigori moest eens weten. hamptonjesse777 (57) - seattle, Alabama, USA - JUN 27, 2018
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2018 A strong stout! Pours black with a light head. Smooth malty oak sensation with a simi bitter after taste. PowY (1658) - AUSTRIA - JUN 24, 2018
From tap at Doble Malta, Mexico D.F. Nearly black mahogany color with a tan colored head. The aroma is relatively mild with roasted malt (chocolate, coffee, toffee). Medium-full to full body with a light to medium sweetness, a light to medium bitterness and some booze (had it relatively warm). Similar to the aroma the flavor is dominated by the roasted malt and starts with lots of chocolate which is followed by more roasted malt - coffee, some burnt wood, raisins. Finishes roasty with a nice bitterness. Overall pretty good with a decent roasty bitterness but not overly special.
