Bottle from the Ale Stone, Aylstone, Leicester. Orange/brown and mostly clear with a lot of visible carbonation and a cream-coloured head. Fruit loaf, malty notes, Christmas pudding and a bit of banana in the aroma. Taste is sweet with an initial sulphurous note, warming to a toasty jammy flavour near the finish. It's not a great beer, but it's a good beer. Warming, lively and English as hell. Geiserich (4853) - Linz, AUSTRIA - MAR 19, 2018
