UPDATED: MAY 2, 2018 It's definetly a pilsner. Bottle, light yellowish color. Typical lager smell. A taste that disappeared fast. bunget (1097) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 11, 2018
Can and bottle on numerous occasions. Clear golden body, big white head with good retention and plenty of lacing. Clean, crisp aroma of grains, herbal hops, biscuit and hints of peppercorn. Taste of grains, herbs, lemon zest, grass and peppercorn. Very nice. beergoogles709 (9) - - MAR 1, 2018 does not count
A very refreshing Pilsner! There's really nothing wrong I can say about this beer totally refreshing, cool bottle easy drinking with grassy earthy notes with a malt backbone. Good on a hot Summer's Day can definitely pound a few of these back with a nice barbecue. salena (7) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 24, 2018 does not count
Good beer. Easy to drink. Golden hay, not too bitter, good with spicy and flavorful foods. mikesq10 (14) - - FEB 7, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 7, 2018 Nice crisp solid hoppy flavour. I rarely drink Pilsners but Steamwhistle is definitely one of the better ones. Went to the distillery in Toronto and had a few fresh samples, it really got me hooked.

Ar: A bit of sulfur; round, graceful malt, very light toast; hay and dried grass. Ap: Golden and clear; medium off-white head with moderate retention, settling into a slightly webby crown that slowly thins toward the center. T: Clean, doughy malt; grass and dried mixed flowers; noble hop aroma is prominent; just the right amount of sulfur to give it a lager-y feel; very low sweetness; bitterness is medium-high and firm; finish is black pepper, noble hops, and dried crackers. P: Medium-light body with very high carbonation; finish is dry. O: Tasty, well-made lager; yeast profile is clean yet accentuates the crackery malt and noble hoppiness; quaffable but still flavorful. xist_ (60) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 13, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2018 Pours a beautiful clean gold, with a large white head. Very carbonated. Aromas of hops, citrus, and grains. Taste is very clean and crisp, with a slightly hoppy finish. The body doesn't have many flavours, which I would say is the biggest flaw with this beer. I wouldn't say it tastes like water, but it is definitely lacking a little in taste. Finish is good though.
Steam Whistle is what got me hooked on beer, and I love it for that. It's definitely not my favorite, but it's not a bad beer and is something that I'd be comfortable drinking at a party or just for the taste. This, and Belgian Moon, are my go to low-end beers. Definitely better than Stella, Coors and Bud Light and the hoppy finish make this very different from what those other beers have to offer gvhaase (1) - - DEC 21, 2017 does not count
Steam whistle is nice full body Pilsner with rich color and licorice overtones.

Not bad. I’m not a big Pilsner guy but on a summer day it could hit the spot. mr_bitter (4) - - NOV 23, 2017 does not count
