COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Doggie Claws has a deep copper color and an intense hop character. I use Simcoe and Amarillo hops along with Organic Pilsner malt, British crystal and dark wild flower honey collected on Mt. Hood. The beer is ready to drink now but will improve with age. Happy Holidays from the curs at Hair of the Dog. - Alan Sprints, Brewmaster

Aroma is a little piney but sticky malts also. Quite good bitterness but also sweet, pine resin, some dried fruit, it's hoppy and thick in the mouth. Good. A6 A4 T8 P5 Ov15 3.8

2010 bottle from the brewery: pours muddy and dirty brown with a thick beige head. Aroma is large: super large amounts of malts, honey, large amounts of hops. Powerful and bitter. Not boozy. Sugary without being too sweet. I can only drink small quantities but it is good.
