Golden-straw colour. Nice legs. Sort of a bland starchy nose. Shaoxing wine with a woody, balsamy aftertaste. Oxidized starchy notes, hints of wood and alcohol. This is one strange brew.

(300ml bottle) Purchased at JustWines in Langford for $34. Clear deep yellow body. Nose of alcohol, bandaid and quality whiskey. I think I like this sake so much more because there isnt that normal sake aroma of potato or root vegetable. Sweet apple front, strong whiskey melds into a very distinct maple finish. This stuff is wonderful... and super expensive.
