Description:
Dark and complex, this strong ale was brewed to wine strength using copious amounts of malt and hops. Aging for several months has mellowed this "old prospector" into a smooth and rich ale, perfect for sipping on a cold winter’s night. Dark crystal malts lend a toasted malt sweetness with flavors of raisins and plums, while Magnum and Cascade hops balance this full bodied malt brew with a clean bitterness and hop aroma.
