Description:
After discussing barrels with master cooper Ron Raiselis over a beer, we both thought it would be great fun to make a barrel from birchwood. Some thoughts from Ron about the process: "This white birch cask was unlike any other woods I’ve worked with. Maple heads and white birch staves are something entirely outside of the coopers tradition." This golden colored Belgian style ale was selected specifically for this barrel. The flavors and aroms aer subtle, nuanced, and crisp.
