Allright. hopped with huge amounts of Saphir Hops. and it is actually fermented with a german ale yeast. from cologne. so it would be a “Kölsch”. our regulars know, that we wouldnt be allowed to call it “Kölsch”, only local cologne breweries are. so we called it “Wölsch”. and an unfiltered “Kölsch” is called “Wiess”. brewed at 1516 the 1st time about 8 years ago. this time, we hopped with the relatively new breed “Saphir”. and we do not have enough “Kölsch” glasses, to just serve in them. sorry. our boss, the genius, simply still has not ordered.
