Stouts evolved from Porters and are fuller and creamier with more body. When a brewery offered a Stout and Porter, the Stout was always the stronger (it was originally called a ‘Stout Porter’). This version of Invercargill’s Pitch Black Stout has a hint of chilli chocolate from red hot chilli peppers.
