Pub Brew. Sagejuana is a burnt orange colored American Pale Ale, with notable sage and pine aromas. This beer is medium bodied, with relatively low malt sweetness. The floral fruity hops infuse with agreeable herbaceous flavors that contribute to a heightened bitterness, which eventually fades, leaving a satisfying aftertaste of fresh sage on the palate.
Fresh sage has an amazing aroma. Incredibly pungent and pronounced, the smell given off by many varieties can easily be compared to hops. Also like hops, sage can taste quite bitter, so it made a great deal of sense to use it in a hop focused beer like Pale Ale.
