Description:
For the Heralded Nocturnes project, we took a traditional grain recipe for a Märzen style beer and spun our own non-conforming traditional twists. We heeded the call of the Heralded Nocturnes for Harvest apples and the ubiquitous Belgian Saison yeast. As always, when we listen to the beers, they veer Wayward! Not even a serious Chardonnay Oak flailing could tame this wild spirit! Redolent with tart apples, hints of white pepper and cloves. Tastes of fresh-pressed apple cider, toasted malt, honeysuckle and a subdued Chardonnay undertone. Effervescent--open gently.
