The latest "Collaboration Brew For A Good Cause" from 16 Mile Brewery. A rich, smooth porter derived from English brown and crystal malts. As you lift your glass, your nose is welcomed by the subtle warming aroma of maple... and then enter the fresh blueberries we crushed at the brewery - they arrive midway down your palate with twinges of sour and tartness... you are now properly prepared for the next pull. As this ’made-for-chilly- weather’ brew warms your glass, the aroma and flavors will be released more and more - patience properly rewarded. Riverside Dock Maple Porter — This is an English Porter style at 6.1% ABV made with fresh dark maple syrup, and blueberries from Hammonton N.J. We are working again with King’s Ice Cream to anted edition maple ice cream from the wort. The oca charity-line aware HIV Consortium www.delawarehiv.orE,,. The money will go directly to assist the people our state. The guest collaborator is Brian Finn, the head brewer at Iron Hill Brewery in Wilmington. Iron Hill www.ironhillbrewery.com, is a series of 9 brewery / restaurants located in DE, PA, and NJ. They were started in 1996 in Newark. They have won a ton of award including a bunch of golds at G.A.B.F., making them one of the most respected brewpubs in the country. What makes this ale unique is we brewed the beer there on a Thursday and then brew the same beer here on Friday. The only difference will be each of us will use our "house" yeast in the beer, and our waters. It is launch mid-November.
