Amber Ale
Originally brewed at the Gribble Inn in West Sussex which was owned by Badger from 1991. Badger kept the Fursty Ferret when the pub was sold in 2005, and have brewed it at the Badger brewery since.
Current blurb:
Named after a mischievous mammal, this morishly malty, amber ale is just the ticket for the discerning beer drinker. With a full-bodied biscuity taste from the dark crystal malt, and a subtle floral and lemon hop aroma its a well-balanced winner for any occasion.
Previous blub:
Named in honour of the inquisitive and extremely “fursty” ferrets of the Gribble Inn, a celebrated golden brown ale, full of character.
At the heart of many a countryside village can be found an inn. A place where locals go to relax after a long day. At one such inn, rumour has it that inquisitive ferrets would sneak to the back door to cheekily sample the local brew.
