Field 2 is a complex and refreshing farmhouse ale that emphasizes the unique flavors of rustic yeast from a farm brewery on the French-Belgian border. With delicate notes of wild herbs, spices, pear, and straw, it’s no surprise that farmhouse ales once quenched field workers. Traditional hops from Bavaria and Slovenia lend pronounced aroma of lemongrass and earth to a gentle finish.
With ingredients that traveled far to come together, Field 2 is yet another transplant to New York that decided to stay. The name is taken from our preferred field in New York, found on the Great Lawn of Central Park.
