Made in the style produced by Trappist monks in the Abbeys of Belgium, Resurrection has complexities not unlike wine and there are very definite spicy/herbal characters both on the nose and palate.
Deep copper red in colour with a light white head. The nose has distinct bubblegum, spice and herbal characters from the yeast used and the fermentation regime. These aromas are noticeable on the palate too along with a Gewürztraminer wine-like perfume. The palate is complex and rich but balanced with a cleansing bitterness. Drink with care! We suggest warming your glass with cupped hands to fully release the flavours and aromas of Resurrection.
