When formulating a new recipe in order to hit targets for color, gravity, IBU's, etc. . .many calculations must be made from alpha acids to utilization %. This classic American Pale was brewed with Rev. Bob for his new brewpub on Division (Moonshine). We used 11% Victory and Caramel malts for color & complexity and the addition of Simcoe, Centennial, and Tettang hops to balance the flavor equation. A crisp, refreashing pint!
