Description:
In Japanese, "Bureiko Jikan" is the time when the chains of hierarchy and conformity break away and real feelings, without the threat of recrimination, get expressed. This is an occasion normally facilitated by an alcohol lubricant. Baird Beer’s contribution to the facilitation of this important moment comes in the form of a dangerously quaffable, fruitily robust and outrageously delicious Belgian-inspired golden ale. A Belgian-style golden ale is a beer typified by the following: magnificent golden hue, spritzy fruitiness, champagne-like natural carbonation, and a dry, cleansing alcohol accented finish. The granddaddy of all Belgian golden ales is, of course, Duvel (a beer close to our heart). This beer represents our starting point. A tradition of originality, though, resonates in Belgian brewing history and we are not slavish imitators at Baird Beer. The chief difference between a Belgian golden ale and Baird Bureiko Jikan Golden Ale resides in yeast and hop usage: whereas the defining character of the former stems from the yeast, the characteristic essence of Bureiko Jikan is derived from the hops (ample quantities of noble-type American hops).
