Brewed in collaboration with our friends at the Well & Bucket, this beer is a slight twist on a classic Leipziger Gose. The style is essentially a slightly tart wheat beer brewed with salt water (originally from the salty brewing water of the region) and coriander. We’ve always enjoyed brewing with pepper (specifically its addition in our Christmas beer, The Pfeffernusse Saison) and thought that it would be an interesting addition to this classic style. The beer is light and fresh with lovely aromas of coriander a hint of pepper. The pepper develops on the palette and balances well with the salt, and the slight tartness lightens the finish.
The Salt & Pepper Gose will be available in 330ml bottle and keg.
