Hop on the bus for the 4th installment of this fun and informative Beercation, the Great Michigan Beer Tour! Signing up for this tour gets you a weekend pass for a professionally guided tour to 8 breweries with walking access from our hotels to many more breweries and beer bars at night in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. After loading guests in Madison and Milwaukee, we’ll begin the trip with a beer tasting and discussion on world and American beer and alcohol history to warm up the group. You’ll be treated to special behind the scenes tours and tastings, history narrated between stops and ample time to explore Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo when we’re finished for the day. This will be the perfect time of year to soak in the sun at the amazing patios at Founder’s Brewery, Dark Horse Brewery and Bell’s Eccentric Cafe!

Highlights include:

•New Holland Brewery’s tour including the Dragon’s Milk Cellar, sour beer cellar and distillery with multiple tastings along the way.
•A VIP tour and tasting at Dark Horse and time to enjoy their Annual “Chicken Wing Thing” event with live bands, special beer releases and made to order wings with a dozen different sauces.
•A specially prepared Beer Paired Brunch at Haymarket Brewery just for our group.
•Top notch lodging in downtown Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo within walking distance (~15 minutes) to the original HopCat bar, Founder’s Brewery and Taproom and several other breweries in Grand Rapids and the Kalamazoo Beer Exchange, Bell’s Eccentric Cafe and many more breweries in Kalamazoo.
•Knowledgeable Hop Head Tour Ambassadors acting as your beer concierge throughout the weekend.

Madison DEPARTS at 6:30 am from the Dutch Mill Park and Ride.

Milwaukee DEPARTS at 8:15 am from the Loomis Road Park and Ride.

Lodging: Holiday Inn Downtown Grand Rapids and Radisson Plaza Hotel at Kalamazoo Center in Kalamazoo.



Day 1

Shoreline Brewery, Michigan City, IN. Includes lunch, tour and beer.

Greenbush Brewery. Bridgman, MI. Includes a pint of beer.

New Holland Brewery and Distillery. Holland, MI. Includes tour and tastings in the Dragon’s Milk cellar, sour beer cellar and distillery.

Holiday Inn Downtown Grand Rapids, MI at 6:45 pm for check in. There are several breweries and a famous beer bar within 1 mile of the hotel.



Day 2

Brewery Vivant. Grand Rapids, MI. Includes beer sampling and tour. Food available for purchase.

Dark Horse Brewery and Pub. Marshall, MI. Includes tour of brewing facility, beer tasting in VIP room above the brewery with extra time for the Annual “Chicken Wing Thing” and special beer releases.

Radisson Plaza Hotel at Kalamazoo Center, Kalamazoo, MI. Check-in in at 5:15 pm.

Group will walk 4 blocks to Bell’s Eccentric Cafe at 5:45 pm and Includes a 4 sample flight. There is food available at Bell’s.



Day 3

Haymarket Brewery. Chicago. Includes 3 course beer paired brunch.

Goose Island Brewery, Chicago. Includes tasting and tour.

Binny’s Beverage Depot, 1132 S Jefferson St, Chicago. A must stop for beer that is unavailable in WI.

Milwaukee returns to Loomis Rd Park and Ride at 5:00 pm.

Madison returns to Dutch Mill Park and Ride at 6:30 pm.
