Round this up a bit if you’re looking for a bit of Americanized culture-peddling. It’s kind of a shame how much cash they have sunk into the brew kettles here; they look as though they are used maybe twice a month.
The dining room is big and shiny and fancy in a rustic way. The gleaming copper gives the place a somewhat trippy orange hue. The service is friendly and right on point; their English is really good even if they do have to reach for a word now and then.
The highlight of the menu for most locals would be the ribs. They’re solid enough. You can get 500g or 750g of ’em. They’re tender, smoky, flavorful, and obviously generously apportioned. Cool wood-like plates and nice heavy knives.
The beers here are indifferently made, but the biersnaps was very nice. It’s a fun place to stop off.

Brewpub with 4-5 taps that are a mix of regulars and seasonals. Seasonals change on a month by month basis. Most of the beers from here has a distinct note of soap in their beers. Food is mediocre and not up to the price in my opinion.

The food is really good, but expensive! The beer is really, really good and somewhat to the pricy side. I like the ambience and atmosphere of this big place, or maybe it was just the godlike brew that made me happy about the surroundings. It’s light and spacious, which is a nice change of pace, compared to the usual danish pub. Service is pretty poor in my book. Very unpersonal and fast, but professional none the less.
This is nice place for a businness dinner or a casual lunch with your hip friends. But everyone who enjoys a good and wellcrafted FRESH beer, is welcome.
Aarhus branch of danish brewpub chain. Ambience is a bit too sterile for my taste. The staff don’t know much about their brew, but they are mostly friendly and quick. The beer selection is poor - they only have their own two or three beers, but they are usually really good. I haven’t tried the food - it’s too expensive.
Only four beers at a time and they are not very exciting. The food is above average. The staff doesn’t seem very knowledgeable about their beers. I much prefer Apollo in Copenhagen as they seem better at executing their recipies.
