I thought I had already rated this one. The beer selection here is passable, but it is noticeably less impressive than Greenlife. Earth Fare doesn’t have near the bomber selection and the turnover rate is pretty low, comparatively.
Reviewing from notes - good selection, reasonable prices, some gems not found elsewhere. Terrible pick six. Busking outside, nice environment, high traffic area around the beer due to the compact store layout. Unassuming store front, easy to miss at second glance.
Hmm... thought I had rated this. Oh, well, I will now. This is a natural grocery store, and its a nice one, comparable to an older but well run Whole Foods. Fairly large. I didn’t eat here but the food smelled good as I walked by and their cafe was full of people, so it must be well regarded. Prices were a little above average. Customer service was nice. Nice beer selection with a lot of NC beers but a smattering of American and foreign stuff as well. I wouldn’t go out of your way but if you are in the area or you need some food that won’t poison you it’s a nice place.
A local version of the whole foods chain, the selection here is the equivalent of what the local Whole Foods sells. They also don’t sell anything overly processed so theirs no BMC to speak of which is nice. They have a nice bomber selection with a good selection of local and Belgian Brews. They also have a fair amount of their beer in the refrigerator. I wish they had a bigger pick-six selection although they have a number in the coolers. All in all it’s a pretty good selection for a neighborhood grocery store.
