Rocknroll interior, pale wood n pistache green. Scents of pizza tempted me terribly. Good service/young english-knowing staff. Good rock n roll / indie / semipunk music. I guess Rune loves this place. 3 vom Faß, herrenpils, mahrs ungespundet, zirndorfer hell. A dozen bottles, some of them rare. Getränkekarte available. Yes, this is a beergeekspot. Stilbruch die Kneipe mit Frosch!
Three beers on tap and nine bottled beers, according to the menu. On tap they had beers from Mahrs Bräu, Keesmann and Zirndorfer. Nice outdoor seating on a quiet Sunday morning before noon. Friendly and smiling waitress. Located in the central part of the old town. Rather like a British pub inside (visited 12.10.2014).
Beer list isn’t great, I’d rather stop by for a coffee and pause to read the paper or people watch before heading into beerier territory a block away. Friendly, peaceful experience but I’m realizing now how long it’s been since I outgrew the target audience.
A lively pub! People were dancing and having fun. Appealing music and a place you want to stay longer. But, this is not a Eurotrash-disco hell! You even get good beer here. Of course, since this is in Franken, the heartland of good beer. (Visited April 29th 2012)
not sure what to think of this place. late night visit was filled with college kids and US military. beer selection decent, scene was fun, good music, cute girls, all that. drank a bunch of rauchbier and stole a ceramic mug. good times.
