Bedford Package Store

OldGrowth called this one about right. It’s well lit, and the selection is good. Definitely more varied than the packies in Lexington which are my other usual alternatives when I’m visiting my parents. I’ve been in many times over the years, and have never asked for help, so who knows how knowledgable they are, they weren’t particularly outgoing at the register.

In a shopping mall with Stop-N-Shop, Homegoods, TJ Maxx. Nice store, seemed clean, well lit. Didn’t ask for or get offered help so score is left in middle. Not a Bad selection, Solid New England presence. Berkshire, Z street,Concord, Paper City, Magic Hat, Harpoon, Wachusett, ShipYard. Some national distributed crafts, DFH, Anchor,Sam Adams. Usual BMC / Molson stuff. Other well distributed Euro’s as well as Orval, Guldenburg, and some XX Bitter de Ranke. Not really worth going out of your way for, but if your visiting freinds in the area not a bad place. You should find something better to have.
