74 All the appearance of a chain brewpub. Lots of seating, but on closer inspection its better than that. Restaurant area separate from bar. Pretty dead on a Wednesday afternoon, but the bar was hopping. About 16 taps running, all DuClaw regulars and specials. Flights of 6 available for $9. Good service, so so beer. |
74 Right off Rt 50 in Bowie town center, industrial feel to the place, bunch of house brews on tap with a little upscale bar food. nice stop while in the area |
68 Basic brewpub situated among a new shopping area; granted, the bar area was much nicer than the restaurant portion. Service was only okay, especially since we were one of the few people there. Selection is primarily the mediocre house beers, but there are plenty to try. Food was pretty good and happy hour offers up some good food specials. Overall a place worth visting for the new ratings, but nothing special. |
62 This place is in either a shoppers paradise or stripmall hell, depending on your point if view. For me it’s the latter. Fortunately when you’re done gorging yourself on American capitalism run amuck you can stop in for a pint or two. You get sux samples for nine bucks here, or you can just try the obe seasonal and one special, they were the highlights for me - the rest of the stuff was mediocre. The food is terrible - salmon cakes tasted like breaded cardboard. Oh well, if you have to shop, cone here too. |
74 Located in a shopping plaza in Bowie Town Center, DuClaw Brewing Company offers a nice selection of locally brewed beer. Plenty of seating is available in the restaurant, as well as more tables and stools in the bar area.
Beers include their six regulars, as well as a varied selection of seasonal offerings. While their beers are not among my favorites, I do enjoy most of their selections, and the brews always taste fresh. DuClaw usually has a nitro-tap offering, as well, which is very cool.
Food is decent, and better than your average bar food. Service is prompt and friendly, though the vibe is more corporate than intimate.
Prices are reasonable, and DuClaw has happy hour specials.
Overall, this is worth a stop if you’re in the area. If you’re a native, you should definitely stop in, sample the beers, and support your local brewery. |
70 Nice bar in the town center complex. Big industrial feel. Pretty busy on a friday but i managed to sit at the bar. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. I didn’t get to eat but i heard the food was good. I would go back. |
76 This location is housed inside a town center area with many other restaurants and shopping places. The interior is new and very open, though the bar can get crowded. Our service was pretty good. There were 15 house beers available, 1 of which was on Nitro. The appetizer we had was well made. The prices are really good, particularly considering your proximity to the District. |
84 had a sampler of 6 / 4oz pours - you pick them. also had some food - very good. DuClaw has a nice variety of beer styles from low abv session beers to imperials to the high 22% abv colossus. nice diverse food menu. good service. great upscale industrial ambiance. |
82 All i can say is " the beers selection are outstanding" |
94 I love this place , Px nemisis and grub ! |
