Visited after midnight on a thursday night. In a cellar downstairs. The old walls create a nice ambiance. Bad air. Seems they have a stage for music aswell. Several taps, even with local craft on tap. Two big friges with bottles. Good selsection, prices okay.
Nice place with a bit younger cliental and louder music than the most ordinary pubs in town. Pretty crowdie the Saturday night we visit, but it was possible to find a couple of seats. Surprisingly well selected beer menu and always nice to see the selection in the fridges placed outside the bar. Nothing really, really special beer wise but a nice break from the more stereotype Brussel beer bar. Enjoyable to hang around for a couple of hours.
Posto molto scuro tipo grotta che a me cmq piace perché crea ambiente intimo e rilassato . 8 spine così così più un tot di bottiglie , non il top in città ma cmq più che valido , servizio nella norma .. Merita se si è in zona .
You go down one floor and you enter the dungeon/cellar. There you find a small bar and some big wooden tables. You have to order at the bar. Beer selection is OK, Belgian beers only (or mostly). Nice music, matching the dungeon ambiance.
Subterranean bar with sarcastic but jovial staff, good range of draught and select bottle availability. Ok prices, decent music a little dungeon like but that adds to the charm. Great whisky range for those that way inclined too!
The entrance way has a bit of a dungeon feel but once inside you find a beautiful old brick cellar with a series of long picnic type tables. Small but interesting Belgian taps of the craft variety listed on the blackboard as well as a few fridges of bottles. A few tables of clueless tourists ladies tells me it may be in a guidebook or two. Service was so so, he seemed more keen to chat with his friend than serve customers at first. I’d go back on my next visit to see what’s on tap.
Short walk from Chez Moeder Lambiek Fontainas, not too far from Central & South Stations. Place is locked in a totally sweet dungeon (big plus for sure). Service was polite & helpful; you need to order at the bar. Beer selection was good, nothing particularly rare or new to me but solid beers as well. Prices were good overall with only two or so exceptions. They also had some whiskeys which looked pretty interesting to me but prices for those seemed bit high for me. More interesting they had some cigars for very sweet prices + a great smoking lounge. The cigars really made this place for me, sweet spot to smoke a cigar & drink some great beers.
