Nice bar. Not very cosy but alright. very friendly service. 4 taps of slovakian beers and for a country (and style) ticker like me just the case. 1 polotmavy! The beers from ikkano and Kaltenecker was of alright standard.

Számomra teljesen átlagos helyként mutatkozott be. Van pár pirítós (falatnyi), egyebek és egy hambi. Egyik sem rosszabb az átlagosnál, de nem is tûnik ki közülük. A galérián hamar nagyon büdös (pirítós szagú?) lesz az ember. Van pár kézmûves sörük, emiatt jó egy plusz pont!

Food is excellent, service is OK, friendly and nice place if you want to relax in the heart of the city...but do not taste the beers.

nice place. A bit trendy looking place. A bit more expensive than normal Budapest prices. The IPA from Kaltenecker was a lovely surprise.

Seem to specialize in beers from the Kaltenecker brewery. Most of which are pretty decent. There aren’t too many beer pubs in Budapest so this is a bit of a find. Ran here after getting caught in the rain. The beers washed down the pig brains on toast that we ate (pretty good, actually)

A great pub in a lively street in Budapest. Kind and fast service. Has some toasts and tapas’ which are good, some of them are very good. 4 taps, all with great Kaltenecker beers. If you are around, you should definitely try it.

I’ve stayed two entrances away last year and I didn’t have an idea that this was (or will be) on RB places. Mostly younger people, four Kaltenecker beers on tap (Chilli, Kavove, Višnove and Winter Bock).

modern vibe, younger crowd than the old man brown bars in town. four Kaltenecker taps, so you can drink Slovakian beer in Hungary. Couldn’t find any of these in Bratislava so nice to find them here. the 19 deg. porter was on tap along with the marzen, lager and ginger beer. 500 HUF for a 0.3L glass. English spoken. Locked WIFI.

Vitally modern, in the middle of the University area. Non-smoking ground floor area, smokers elsewhere. A drinks and toast bar, the toast being what happens to bread when you grill it. The only beer worth the candle is the four draft beers from Kaltenecker of Slovakia, of which four are stocked at any one time and served through fonts that say but do not mean Weizen, blond, Marzen and Brokat - they can be any four and on our visit there was no notice of what was on. Attentive young staff though, invested in making the place work. It is amazing just how many things you can do with toast and spreads.

The first pub in BP that realises that choosing an innovative beer is a valid concept for a pub. Kaltenecker is the most innovative and active of Slovakian breweris - the owner is actuallya a Hungarian nationality living inn Slovakia. They brew 22 types of beer, 10 constant, 12 seasonal, and the Rozsnyó factory has just grwon ten times bigger, so we might expect some surprises from them. The atmosphere, design is nice, the toast-concept is cool, though for me the toasts are too thick - which only means toast is too personal type of food for me, and I am not happy if a toast is not how I exactly like a toast to be. Definitely a good place, a must-try for the beer-traveller!
