Beer Revolution - 11th Av Calgary

Stopped here for some lunch. Place was nearly empty, long list of expensive drafts, decent pizzas though nothing to write home about. Beers were mostly local and not all that interesting tbh. I'm on the line about having to spend more time in Calgary to get the right appreciation or never going there again.

Mostly average Canadian craft Some good US brews.Very expensive..Definitely NOT the best place on Calgary.

2017-06-19. Nice modern space but still cozy. Relatively quiet even for a Monday night. Server is friendly, but between the menu and description we aren’t entirely sure if we got one of our beers correct. Happy hour pricing on drinks and appetizers is nice, but the food was just okay. Draft pricing is decent - 8oz price is about what I’d expect for 4-6 some places in Toronto. Some of the imported bottles are pretty pricey. Nice spot. Wide selection of styles and breweries is nice but overall calibre of the taplist did not knock your socks off today. Enjoyable and worth a visit but a bit disappointing for the top rated place in town if I am being honest.

Beautiful cozy place in downtown Calgary. Lots of taps, only craft. I went during Alberta beer week so it was all Alberta craft. Food wwas good.The electronic beer menu is a nice feature also.

Came here on a Friday afternoon with my friend. Pretty good ambiance. Had a good time sipping beers. Service was great. Didn’t try the food, but a lot of people seemed to have pizza they really enjoyed. I’d come back here next time I’m in Calgary.

Selection was great. Pizza was delicious. Staff was friendly, service was great. Beer selection consists primarily of north american beers. Pretty standard bar atmosphere. Pricing is surprisingly competitive, didn’t spend any more money here than I would have at any other bar.

Nice space across from MEC. Dark wood, dark lighting, flatscreen beer list and ample (but subtly placed) TVs with the games on. Pizza is the go-to on the menu and it was average to slightly above average. Beer selection was focused on Alberta and BC, with maybe 30% from some Eastern Canadian brewers, a few US Northwest brews, and a few outliers. They do make 3-4 of their own, the 2 I tried were clean and tasty, if not overly memorable. Decent sized wraparound bar, tables along the sides and a communal high-top in the middle where I sat. Friendly, quick, knolwedgable service (It is Alberta, after all). I liked the selection better down the road @ Craft market, but the atmosphere here is much cozier. All in all, somewhere I wouldn’t hesitate to return

Loved they were open till 2AM on weekends, and especially as they had the full menu available after midnight because we hadn’t eaten. Also loved that the half-pints are exactly half price yay! The brewpub is connected next door but the Beer Revolution bar has some beer that you can’t even get at the brewpub so you must come to both. Decent but somewhat shallow selection of beer overall. Lame (Clear Channel type) music and drab corporate decor, but mostly a great place.

First of all, you’re going to be veeeeeeery disappointed if you’re looking for a Bud, Miller or Coors here because they don’t have that. Nice first stop while in Calgary. Good atmosphere. Sat at the bar and the bartender was into the craft beer scene. Excellent service and food.
