Don’t come here on Friday or Saturday night, besides that, it is great. Large amount of space and roughly 50 arcade games and pinball machines spread around. A good enough selection of craft beer on tap and they rotate the list fairly often. Bar staff is good enough and will help out with a local selection if you ask.

Emporium is a great barcode with well priced video games and pinball accompanied by a varied Tap list. They do not carry cans or bottles to save on waste, which is admirable. The draft selections vary - with rarely seen beers from both local and national breweries often found here, along with appropriate glassware. This bar brings in a large crowd on Friday and Saturday evenings. The upside is that this is a large bar with ample room away from the arcade games. Going on a Sunday or off peak time is usually a good idea.

I’m a big fan of this place. Great, friendly staff; great games that are $0.25 each, with a wide selection of pinball and classic arcade games. Large bar on the left portion of the place, right portion has more pinball games with a stage where local bands occasionally play. The classic arcade bar scene has exploded in the past year or so in Chicago, and I’d say this place does the best job of great selection with both beers and pinball games. I’d say avoid on weekend nights, as this place gets very busy, but go during daytime/weeknights.

Un chouette endroit avec une carte à la pression vraiment intéressante et incroyable pour un français comme moi. Et en plus de ça tu peux jouer à des flippers et des jeux d’arcade, le rêve !

This place is really cool. It’s packed ALL the time, and they did so well in their first year that they expanded. A birdie told me that one of the owners used to be a bartender at Barcade in Brooklyn. They have a cool rotating beer list and it’s hard not to have a good time here. It’s just busy, and some people may be turned off by the younger hipster crowd.

Great concept that appeals to the correct crowd, people just like me who grew up on video games and like good beer. They frequently change out the games, not allowing things to get stale and they only cost a quarter per play. When it first opened the tap list was great pulling some harder to find kegs. Recently, they have really dumbed down the list. Games are cool but if there is nothing of substance to drink, I’m not going to attend. Please bring back the good stuff!

This could be the coolest place in wicker park! The atmosphere is unmatched and the service is great. Not too hipster, not too upscale either. Amazing tap selection! Mostly microbrews and local beer, this is no place for a bud light.
