Visited on a Sunday early afternoon close to lunch time. We walked here, so Iím not sure about parking. Once inside, the place was packed, but somehow there were a couple seats at the bar. Most people were standing. Not sure why. The bar runs a long ways down the right side of the store with wine racks running a similar distance along the left side. On my visit, they had a couple Founders seasonals, some Goose Island beers I had never seen before, and a couple from Bells. The bottled beer selection was all in the back. They had a couple refrigerators of beer, but more than half are on shelves. There is a table right in the middle of the beer section, which during my visit, was surrounded by people that appeared to have no idea I was looking at the beer and would not move when I got really close to them. That part of the trip was a bit odd, but not too inconvenient. I could see the beers behind them, and thankfully I didnít feel like buying any of them. Findlay market, which is right across from this shop, is actually really cool, so if nothing else, I will visit next time I visit the market. A decent little place. Hopefully next time Iím in here they will be less crowded.

Popped in here while shopping at Findlay Market on a Sunday morning. Whoa, well kept secret. This little, unassuming storefront has 6 taps on the right as you walk in and a bar that goes back a little ways. The taps were all 2 seasonal Founders and 4 Sierra Nevada Beer Camps when I walked in. Wine racks line the first 2/3 of the storeís walls, and some beer racks and coolers are in the back. Theyíre full of things that other stores have run out of recently, so this is certainly flying under the radar locally. Very friendly staff, and more people working than expected, probably for the busy market weekend. Open everyday, really good hours for me; I will be stopping by here on my way home from work sometimes.

A good little spot on Findlay Market. Only a couple of beers on draft, but itís a nice little bottle shop (and wine shop) too, and the guy that owns it is nice and friendly. Just wish they had a little more extensive of a selection, but itís great to stop in while shopping at Findlay Market.

While shopping at Findley Market as a last minute decision I went to Market Wines for a wine tasting, then I saw all sorts of beer. What caught my first was Bells Quinannan Falls Special Lager was one of the beers on tap. As I walked to the back of the store I saw a mother lode of craft beers and imports. The owner knows his beer, although his staff didnít. For the wine tasting, they also had entertainment(vocalist & guitar) which I enjoyed. One huge down side of going during the wine tasting is the place was packed with people.

Small tight shp with a very friendly and helpful staff. Not a huge volume but a great depth of selection, Alesmith, Stone, and Avery are just a few of the items available. Definitely worth a look if youíre in the area/

Market Wines is located in historic Findlay Market (hence the name) just north of downtown Cincinnati. The market itself is filled with many fantastic local venders of fresh foods. This is one of the cityís cultural hubs and should be visited regularly by every Cincinnatian. Market Wines is not a large store by any means, but the limited space designated for beer in the back has some great brews. Focus is mainly on domestics like AleSmith, Avery, Moylans, Southern Tier, and Stone. Thereís also a bar for beer tastings and (of course) a respectable hand-picked wine selection. The space is well laid-out, and the owners are friendly. A must for one-stop shopping at Findlay Market.
