94 Gran descubrimiento, buena cerveza y lugar agradable. |
80 Stopped by on a Monday during COVID-times. They do samplers now - four generous 5-oz pours. Anyways, very nice bartender, very patient folks, nice outdoor seating and some damn good English-style beers. I typically find that beers on hand-pulls get a bit of an off-watery flavor; not a problem at all with these beers. Basically like going to a good classic English brewery in terms of quality.
Worth a visit, even if English ales are (as with me) not always your bag. These are some well-crafted beers. |
88 Even after a 15 pub crawl in Birmingham, I didn’t know English styles could be this good. The cask draws were beautiful to look at and incredibly flavorful. I’m huge fan of this place. |
78 One of the better British-themed breweries I’ve visited for sure. Fairly small tasting room, but cozy and comfortable. A bunch of kegs and a bunch of casks, with available on both. No flights, but the staff were willing to give me small samples of everything and charge me accordingly, so huge points for that. Super friendly service. Not in the top tier of Denver breweries, but it was definitely an enjoyable stop. |
80 Enjoyed this spot and would love to go back when it was not so PACKED. The lady that served me was definitely into her job and I though the beer(s) I had stellar.
Felt a tad rushed by my friend that drove me there which is never a way to experience a spot. (But I do understand feeling of claustrophobia) |
78 Small bar, with some cool outdoor space. The bartender, Paul, was very friendly, talkative, and clearly excited about the beer. He was very patient with customers of all levels of beer knowledge, and was willing to explain cask ales to anyone who wanted to know. 7 cask lines and 10 CO2 lines, all with English styles of beer, and no guest taps. $4 for 10 oz, $6 for a pint, or $7 for a proper pint (20 oz.). This place is the perfect spot for English real ales drawn correctly. It’s refreshing to escape the barrel-aged stouts and single hop IPAs, and have some simple, quality beer. |
80 Loved this place. Very nice British-style stuff served correctly from the hand pump, low carbo, smooth, tasty. Good vibe, nice people. A great change for drinking in the US.

74 Checked this place out during GABF 2015 weekend with Andrew and Ellen. Pretty neat little set up. I think I heard the place was converted into a brewpub from a gas station. Nice Alvarez in outdoor seating in front with corn hole and lots of dogs. About ten taps with decent offerings. Only complaint is that they don’t offer anything smaller than 10oz and you have to drive to the place to get there so tickers beware. |
58 Great idea for a brewery, only serving English-style beers. Not enough taps, not enough variety overall. The service was top notch. The bartender told us all about great places to drink beer in Denver. Food consisted of hot pretzels only, but they were good. As kind as they were to us, I hate to say that I will probably not be back. |
