As far as gas stations go, this is definitely a pretty damn good beer store.
They have a pretty good selection of large format bottles and six packs. Stuff from the more local breweries as well as a lot of stuff from Utah, Nevada, Colorado, and California. Particularly a lot of stuff from Southern California. Decent selection of some of the more big name Belgian imports like Chimay, St. Bernardus, etc.
A pretty good amount of the beer is out on shelves warm, but they do have a handful of coolers as well. The stuff in sixpacks can’t be split up, but there are some random singles available. Luckily some of the notoriously bad beers like Oak Canyon and some random beers with aliens on the label which just have to be bad. They also had a growler fill station which kind of blew my mind.
Prices seemed reasonable enough. The people working there didn’t seem to be too much into helping people, but they were quite friendly upon paying for the stuff we’d picked out. It’s basically on your way out of or in to town, so might as well stop.
Yes, it’s a gas station, but they have a great beer selection. Found a couple of beers I haven’t found anywhere else in Arizona. Decent pricing and there was a distributor hanging out and the owner who both had a lot of knowledge of the beers on hand. Good turnover, most bombers are not cold. They do not break six-packs.
