Consists of a smallish house with a local vibe joined by a slick looking barrel room with great privacy. The service was fast and good enough. I have to knock them on their selection. Other than a Quad and a Tripel, all they had was saisons. Very odd and niche. Prices were above average. The saison I had was very good, but I would really have to be in a mood for that particular kind of beer to go there again. They were nice people, but I just donít understand the high rating.

This brewery/brewpub is located on the outskirts of Fort Collins in a sort of industrial area. There is a short bar and several tables to accommodate beer drinkers. Also a bar food menu that I did not try. Several taps of Funkwerks beer and a couple guest taps. Also quite a few bottles of their better beers are for take out. The barkeep was friendly and knew the beers.

Great little niche brewery specializing in sours, saisons, and fruity beers. Amazing selection of the aforementioned brews. Good service, small indoor seating medium sized patio. If you want Ilaís, porters or stouts, this is not your place.

Came here fairly close to opening, and at any given point my group of 4 were either the only people or at least half the people in the place. Guys working here were fairly nice though they gave off a mildly dismissive vibe that I canít 100% explain. Lots of stuff available (maybe in the 12-15 range). They did their samples in a set grouping, so you couldnít make your own flight. I would have preferred the option of making my own, but this worked okay. I liked most of the beer (rating in the 3.5 up range), but the only one I thought was special was the Peach Whiskey Barrel Aged Tropic King. Some of the others were plenty good though. Really liked their tulips, simple and clean. Makes for a nice visit overall.

Nice spot in the brewery district of Fort Collins. Iíve got to say the íbiance is quite nice. The beers are decent. I think theyíre maybe a little overrated though. Chris Lively once told me most American sours are dog shit, and heís closer to right than many would like to admit. These arenít dog shit, but weíre not talking Russian River here. Funny story - my coworker came with me and he doesnít like fruity stuff. Literally EVERY SINGLE BEER on the menu had fruit notes in its deScription. He asked the server for something non-fruity and the guy was at a loss. So if youíre a fruity kind of guy (or girl), this is your place!

Last stop on a great beer tour day of the FoCo area. I loved the place and the people. The barrel room in the back thatís climate controlled has picnic tables and cool lighting...it is a really neat place to hangout and drink beer. There is also an outdoor area to drink if the weather is accommodating. My friend and I tried 2 flights of 5 beers...and with some sharing got to each try 10 of the 13 available to us that day. Funkwerks is primarily a sour beer house...but they have such a variety of styles and in some cases almost crossovers...Iíd say there is something here for everyone...even those that donít consider themselves sour beer drinkers...and to that I tip my hat...because this style isnít for everyone...but this is a great place to start. They remind me of what Wicked Weedís Funkatorium is doing in Asheville, NC.

This is probably my favorite out of the half dozen or so area brewpubs I visited. It is a cute little taproom w/ loud/simple color schemes and metalwork bars. It basically looks like the office of an internet start-up. This said, it had a bright, sunny feel which I felt was a pleasant change of pace from the stuffy, dark feel a lot of bars and brewpubs seem to strive for. The beer is really good too with samplers available of everything--though I donít think they had any beer aside from their own. Itís not the cheapest place in town but not out of line by any stretch of imagination. Definitely, if I find myself in the area, this will be first on my list of repeats.

Stopped with my family on my way into Fort Collins; not too hard to find off Hwy 14. Lovely patio and grass for a sunny June day, with games that my kids enjoyed. The beer selection is good, with some interesting taps. The prices werenít great but werenít terrible either ($11 for 5 4 oz. specialty taps; $9 for 5 regular ones). The food options are few and didnít interest us. Not a huge place, and the beers arenít mind-blowing, but theyíre thoughtful and worth a detour.

Very small pub with an awesome selection of beer. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the beers were good. Didnít eat anything.

Small, cozy, and overall excellent joint that I was happy to visit several months ago. Stopped in on a gorgeous late Friday afternoon with some good friends, and enjoyed many of this breweries fine offering. Super-friendly and knowledgeable staff, bright setting, and a wide range of excellent brews. The flight was ridiculous, with 1/3 full tulips instead of the usual wee shot-glasses. Great family vibe, an absolute must if in FC.
