Overlooks the bay. Good parking. Nice tropical setting but otherwise a standard Gordon Biersch.

On the water, which I like. Sunday discount, which I also liked. The beers were pretty good, well made lagers, and that made it a better than average GB experience, unless I got so jaded by the Miami one that I forgot they make decent beer.
On one level, it’s just a Gordon Biersch. On another level, it’s a good Gordon Biersch. We came here after dropping off my aunt at the cruise ship terminal, which is at the pier next door and we could see her ship. The outside bar has a nice view. They also have all-day happy hour on Sunday, which was awesome. The seasonal hellerbock was outstanding and I ordered two because it was easily the best beer in the house that day. Overall, it is what it is, and it does what it does well.
Perfect for an outdoor beer on a beautiful day. They have the standard GB menu for beers and food. Nothing special in that regard. The reason to go is the location. We were walking along the water thinking it was the perfect time for a cold glass of beer, and then this GB showed up. I call that good timing.
Visited May 30, 2011. I enjoyed having a flight with my brother to sample the GB brews. Food was ok to good. Service wasn’t great but they were busy. Had a real chain feel, but the patio was a great place to watch the ocean and harbor.
Many visits over the years, GB makes a great meet-up place for adventures in Honolulu. The place is very nice inside, but lacks some pub ambiance - very California chain feel. The outdoor section has fantastic views of the harbor and marina however, which adds value. Don’t sit inside if you can avoid it. Food is very good and some effort is applied here. Selection is a variety of German beers, as one might expect. Always try a seasonal or special brew if you can, they’re generally more interesting. Don’t expect much beer knowledge from the servers, but the bartenders will be better - if they’re not too busy.

Had lunch with my girlfriend here during a long layover coming back from Maui. I’ve never been a huge fan of GB beer so I wasn’t expecting all that much, but they aren’t bad beers so I was still happy to go. Had a couple of their normal offerings and thought of them as being right on par with all the other GB I’ve had. Just OK. The food was real good, though. Like all things Hawaii, it was pricey. I wouldn’t seek it out specifically to go back but I wouldn’t be mad if I did end up here again, either. The view of the working harbor is an interesting backdrop, too. **stopped in again in 2016 and this place looks a bit worn. Still on par with my previous review. Clientele seems very...mature. Not that it’s a bad thing, just to be aware of when stopping in if you’re expecting a lively crowd.
Stopped in for dinner. I’ve been here in the past, but never rated the place. The beers were good, seasonal was the best of them all. Staff was friendly. The food is always good here and with good food and decent beer, definitely worth the stop if you are visiting the mall.
Visited while on vacation in Oahu. Great location in a shopping mall, next to a cruise ship departure. Great view of docks. Beers are more suited to general public. Recommend going with your family or friends.
