Stopped by during a recent trip to Louisiana. Kind of out of the way if you are traveling down I-10, but this place has a nice selection of beer. Had a selection comparable to some of the better beer stores in the state. The only issue I saw was that there were some very old IPAs on the shelves, including some Stone Best By beers from October 2013 (I visited in March 2014). If you stick to beers that aren’t hurt by a bit of age I don’t think you can go wrong.
If Christoff is working, he is very knowledgeable about the beer selection. He is more than qualified to make recommendations for the novice. They have a great selection, and they take care with the display, even going so far as to show how the beer rates via a shelf label. Good stuff here, they have Rochfort, Westleven, Aventus, etc...

Excellent beer selection, mainly because of the number of obscure Belgian beers available. In fact they have the best Belgian selection in Lafayette. Beer tastings on the first Friday of every month from 5-7pm. Knowledgeable staff.
